New Patients
Welcome to The Bio Mechanix! We hope you’ll find our new patient process to be straightforward and seamless. It’s our desire that you’ll feel relaxed in our warm and friendly practice environment.
Your First Visit
You’ll find plenty of convenient parking (Pay and Display) on all roads surrounding The Bio Mechanix. You’ll be greeted by name and made to feel welcome and comfortable.
We ask you to attend 15 minutes before your first appointment time to fill in the relevant patient history forms. Doing so will help to speed things along when you meet your chiropractor.
During your consultation with the chiropractor, you’ll discuss your past medical history and your health goals. We’ll let you know if chiropractic is likely to help you. If we believe it is, a comprehensive examination will help identify the cause of your problem.
On your Report of Findings visit, which may be the same day or the following day, we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you. After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health.
This two-visit approach accomplishes the following:
- Reduces the length of your first visit
- Gives us time to correlate our findings
- Avoids overloading you with too much information
In certain circumstances we make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.
Please allow 45-60 minutes for both the first and second appointments.
With the groundwork laid, these regular appointments don’t take as long but they are extremely valuable. Similar to a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Missed visits can interfere with the momentum required to make the needed changes.
As we know your time is valuable, we do everything possible to make your visits as time- efficient as possible to minimise the impact on your busy life.
Each follow-up treatment will be either a single or double appointment, depending on the condition and time required. A double appointment is 30 minutes.
